The School has a very active NCC Army Wing program. Students from class 8-10 are eligible for this program. The school awards ‘A’ certification to the students on completion. Various activities like social work, plantation drives etc are undertaken throughout the year. The cadets are trained in Firing of various weapons, First Aid and survival skills. There are PT classes every Saturday where cadets are taught various drills. Each year the cadets also undertake educational tours outside the state. The school perhaps is the first school to have a band party. NCC is a program which is free of cost and open to all students that wants to join. Alumni of this program have gone on to join various military and engineering services connected to this program.
